WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR FEB. 24

They will hunt them to the last, time of the mongrel, down to the past, sterilize you a new scene. Wolves awake from the endless dream, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with Michael Cole hyping toniight’s card up over the usual montage of talent arriving at the arena.

Logan Paul makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He starts with the “I am also from Ohio” cheap pop before saying of course that he’s just like the crowd except way better and he’s got a story. He was coming in on his bird today, descending, and he saw dreary grey depressing Cincinatti and told his pilot to pull a U-turn and take him home.

But they he said no wait he’s righteous and he will go to Cincinatti and perform in front of the peasants because he’s just that humble. He talks about beating Rey Mysterio last time he was on Raw to punch his ticket to Elimination Chamber where he will defeat three doorknobs and John Cena to headline WrestleMania, beat Cody Rhodes, and be the face of the company.

Enter CM Punk.

Paul asks what Punk’s problem with him is, if he’s jealous ‘cause he sees the subtweets and he thinks he’s jealous because Logan succeeds at everything he does outside of the ring where CM’s career is a series of failing upwards. Punk says he’s not jealous, he’s a dime-a-dozen willing to do anything for the shock and he thinks that makes him the talent of a generation?

No, these people deserve better. Logan mocks him and says Punk is bad business, one of the greatest returns in WWE history and he cracked under pressure and tore his widdle twicep because he couldn’t handle the spotlight. That’s why he’s here, CM is familiar to these people— Stone Cold, John Cena, CM Punk, that name changes and it’s only a matter of time before the people get behind him.

Punk says those names, himself included, are legends and history-makers, time and time again, under the pressure Logan says he cracks under, he makes history. Paul has never made history, he’s barely a flash in the pan, and he’s not gonna be here long enough for them to figure out or remember who he is.

CM says he’s gonna eliminate Paul, go on to Mania, and then Logan will BE history. He doesn’t care if Cody Rhodes has to sell his soul to beat him, he already knows what Paul will find out on Saturday— he’s Satan himself, and in this business, Logan is nobody.

Paul slaps him and runs away, chickenshit. He mock asks Punk if he’s okay and says he doesn’t know what happened, and CM tells him to run while his legs still work, because on Saturday he’s locked in a cage with CM Punk and once he gets hands on him, he’ll understand why they chant his name.

Punk licks his lips and reveals the slap bloodied him!

Ludwig Kaiser makes his entrance and we go to break.

Ludwig Kaiser vs. Penta vs. Pete Dunne

Dunne jawing at Kaiser, Ludwig backs off and Pete blasts him with an enzuigiri! Penta meets him with a kick, headlock, shot off, tijeras sents Dunne to the floor! Kaiser slides back in, schoolboy pin, big chop and a kick from Penta, whip to the corner, up and over for a lungblower and now Ludwig rolls to the floor!

Zero off the ropes, Kaiser begs off, Pete stalks after him and drops him with a diving knee off the apron and punches against the barricade! PENTA NAILS HIM WITH A DIVE! Ludwig throws Zero into the barricade, dropkick puts Dunne’s arm into the steel steps! Kaiser throws Penta inside, whip across, front kick cuts him off and a clothesline sends Ludwig to the floor!

Penta climbs up top, plancha takes both of ‘em out and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Penta in control, big chop to Kaiser, drawing Dunne up, chops for both men! Pete up top, Zero runs up the apron and Frankensteiners him off the top and into Ludwig! Sending Kaiser to floor, off the ropes on the other side with a tope con giro for Pete! TOPE CON GIRO FOR LUDWIG TOO!

Penta throws him inside, fireman’s carry, big Death Valley Driver... DUNNE BREAKS IT UP! Zero and Pete trading shots in the ring, Ludwig comes in, Dunne sends him out, Bitter End... KAISER BREAKS IT UP! Looking for his Square Hammer DDT, Pete wishbones his fingers to fight out of it! PENTA FLIP PILEDRIVER TO DUNNE AND A SUPERKICK FOR KAISER!

In position... SACRIFICE! Drawing Peter up, Ludwig sends him packing...

Ludwig Kaiser wins by pinfall with the Square Hammer DDT on Pete Dunne.

We get a hype reel for John Cena and his quest for a 17th world championship.

Jackie Redmond interviews Rhea Ripley from the Okerlund Position.

She says her full focus is on defending the WWE Women’s World Championship against IYO SKY next week, because IYO is right, she’s never beat her. But it’s been nearly five years since their last match, and in those five years, Rhea has become the most dominant woman in the company and beaten everyone who has stepped to her.

So after next week, you’ll have to add IYO SKY’s name to that list.

SKY rolls up and says that next week she’s going to beat Ripley again and go to WrestleMania as the world champion.

We get a hype reel for WWE LFG on A&E.

New Day make their entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, and New Day are in mid-promo about how we should all thank god that they’re here.

Latino World Order make their entrance and rush them out of the ring and we’re off!

Latino World Order (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) vs. New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)

Wilde and Woods to start, sweet headscissors hanging in the ropes, tag to Del Toro, assisted slingshot splash sets up a quebrada, cover for two! Frankensteiner, clear the apron with a forearm, right hands and a chop, Cruz goes for a suplex but Xavier floats over and Kingston tags in!

Low-bridge sends Del Toro to the floor and Kofi poses before going out after him and bringing him back in! Putting boots to him in the corner, an evil Unicorn Stampede, Cruz gets away and tags Wilde back in! Kicks aplenty, mounted punches on Kingston, Woods back body drops him to the apron, slingshot back in, rolling thunder reverse STO on Kofi! Tornado DDT on Xavier!

Tag to Del Toro, off the ropes... STEREO TOPES CON GIRO! Kingston recovers, gets Cruz in the corner...

New Day win by pinfall with Up Up Down Down on Cruz Del Toro.

Post-match, Dragon Lee rushes down to attack New Day and avenge his mentor but with Wilde and Del Toro down, That Damn Numbers Game wins out and New Day spike him with a double powerbomb!

We go to the Judgment Day clubhouse.

Finn Balor is sick of it, last week was the most embarrassing day in the history of Judgment Day and it was all Dominik Mysterio’s fault for losing to AJ Styles and getting speared by Bron Breakker. Dom counters that Finn lost to Seth Rollins and maybe they should add a new member but Balor doubles down and says he’ll solve it himself.

Liv Morgan rolls up to berate them for fighting and asks them to stick together while she and Raquel Rodriguez bring gold home. Finn asks if they’re not worried after that stunt they pulled with Jade Cargill and Liv insists that they didn’t do it and asks Balor to help Mysterio against Bron Breakker.

Carlito finds a yellow apple and he’s stoked.

We get a hype reel of various WWE Superstars opening trading cards with fans.

GUNTHER is shown walking backstage to send us to break.

Back from commercials, various football men are show in the front row, as well as former TNA World Tag Team Champion Adam “Pac-Man” Jones.

GUNTHER gets on the mic.

He says you’ll get to see him in action tonight and he was initially angry at Jey Uso’s challenge but now he’s excited to embarrass him and end that Yeet circus for good. So yesterday he took that WrestleMania spirit to Adam Pearce and offered him the WWE World Heavyweight Champion in action tonight.

He introduces us to his hand-picked opponent and says he opened the gate for this opportunity... AKIRA TOZAWA!

Tozawa makes his way down and GUNTHER explains why he picked him— he saw him doing some TikTok dances when he came in here and it bothered him because they have some things in common. They both uprooted their lives and came to WWE and got into the shape of their lives to prove they belong, but Tozawa wastes it by dancing and being a goof for those degenerate fans.

But tonight Akira can do something Jey can never do, by earning his respect. GUNTHER starts shoving him around and demands he earn his respect and Tozawa takes it to him with a boot and we got a bell!

Akira Tozawa vs. GUNTHER

Fast combinations, another boot, but GUNTHER blasts him with a big boot! Tozawa to his feet defiant, he throws a chop but the Ring General cuts him down with one in return! Up for the powerbomb but Akira counters with a guillotine choke! Roundhouse kick connects but GUNTHER lands the shotgun dropkick!

Powerbomb countered again into a sunset flip... SO CLOSE! Up top, missile dropkick countered into a Boston Crab and GUNTHER damn near breaks him in half! Tozawa burning with fighting spirit, crawling for the ropes, Otis Dozovic cheers him on and he gets the ropes!

Disdainful kick to the ribs, paintbrushing Akira and Tozawa rises, ramrod straight and defiant! Three chops for one and Akira is down again. GUNTHER with the powerbomb but he pulls back on the cover! Pulling him up, dangling him in the Gojira Clutch and referee Shaun Bennett makes the call...

GUNTHER wins by referee stoppage with the Gojira Clutch.

Post-match, the Ring General puts him back in the Gojira Clutch but Otis makes the save! GUNTHER piefaces him but Otis shimmies and shakes and the world champion goes running! Otis and Maxxine Dupri tend to Tozawa and GUNTHER cheapshots Dozer right back into the Gojira Clutch!

“MAIN EVENT” JEY USO MAKES THE SAVE AND THE RING GENERAL RUNS AWAY!

We get a clip of Michael Cole on Logan Paul’s podcast and Pat McAfee does a telestrator comment about the buttons on Cole’s shirt straining against his gut but also telling him he’s clearly jacked from the way his pecs look through the fabric.

We see Lyra Valkyria walking backstage to send us to break.

Dakota Kai vs. Lyra Valkyria (WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship)

Stepover armlock from Valkyria, smashing Kai into the mat, Dakota fights out with upkicks, schoolboy for a nearfall! Charging in, Lyra counters with a tossing powerbomb, Kai to the floor, wrecking ball dropkick countered! Valkyria with kicks from the apron, hooking her, suplex countered into a double leg!

Kai with a cannonball off the apron, fired up, and we go to break!

Back from commercial, jockeying for position in the turnbuckles, Valkyria with a superplex and both women are down! Slugging it out forearm for forearm in the middle of the ring, Kai with the Scorpion Kick, Lyra counters, back and forth pinning predicaments! Valkyria backslide countered to a jackknife, bridging out!

Lyra with a Tenryu Powerbomb, Dakota around the corner big boot, followed by the rolling lungblower... SO CLOSE! Fighting on the apron, Kai staggers her in the corner with a kick, Valkyria fireman’s carry...

Lyra Valkyria wins by pinfall with Nightwing, retaining the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Post-match, Valkyria does a sportsmanship and Kai gives her a little hug.

When Dakota gets to the stage, Ivy Nile attacks her from behind and puts her into the barricade! Nile rushes the ring, release German suplex into mounted punches, scoop and a swinging Rock Bottom! Ivy picks up the title belt and holds it up.

A hype reel for WWE Evolve follows and my day is made worse.

We get a video package for the friendship between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn and the unsanctioned match scheduled for Elimination Chamber.

A sitdown interview with Sami Zayn follows.

He talks about going to Kevin’s house and chatting with his mom recently and she was in good health and good spirits and he got home that night totally ashamed of himself because he didn’t recognize this person who would go to his house and things have never been like that but now they’re here, and this is how it’s different.

He doesn’t know what he’s capable of right now and he doesn’t know what Owens is capable of and they’re not in headspaces they recognize right now. He says WWE should be real concerned about what he’s going to do to Kevin because this is going to be a war worse than anything they’ve ever done to each other before and he hopes he’s ready because it’s going to be a very, very bad time.

We see Bron Breakker walking backstage and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Bianca Belair and Naomi cut a promo about how Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez could have just taken their whooping and walked away but they just had to come for their titles.

Bron Breakker vs. Dominik Mysterio

Breakker shoves Mysterio into the corner, dirty break with a kick from Dominik but Bron just chucks him out of the ring! Throwing him back inside, block a punch, side headlock, shot off, duck under a lariat, Breakker wipes Dom out! Big tossing northern lights suplex, knees in the ropes, Finn Balor runs interference and Carlito pulls Breakker out of the ring!

Mysterio takes advantage with a dive, back inside, Bron with a military press, Colon runs interference and Dom hits a dropkick that sets up the 619! Up top, Breakker cuts him off, charges in... AVALANCHE FRANKENSTEINER! Fired up, the straps are down, Finn and Carlito pull Bron out of the ring...

Bron Breakker wins by disqualification.

Post-match, Judgment Day continue working Bron over, putting boots to him in the ring! Breakker recovers, back body drop sends Mysterio to the floor and a spear cuts Carlito in half! He squares up on hands and knees with Balor and Finn makes a hasty retreat!

A recap of the Rock’s return on last week’s SmackDown wherein he asks Cody Rhodes for his immortal soul (I didn’t hallucinate that on headache meds folks, I checked the next morning.)

We see Cody Rhodes walking backstage and we go to break.

Back from commercial, the Creed Brothers hype up Ivy Nile until they run into an interview.

Ivy reminds us that Chad Gable charged them with getting gold by the time he gets back— WAR RAIDERS BLINDSIDE THE CREEDS AND THEY BRAWL UNTIL REFEREES AND ROAD AGENTS SWARM TO BREAK THEM UP!

“American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He’s pretty certain of what we’re supposed to talk about— what does it mean to ask for one man’s soul? That’s an abstract question but having grown up in this business he thinks he has the sense of the offer that the Rock has made him. It’s good guy 101 for him to never lie to us and he’s not going to start now.

But he needs us to know that as he’s standing in the ring, feet planted on the mat, heading to another WrestleMania main event, that he is an incredibly blessed man. This decision he has to make at Elimination Chamber doesn’t affect him alone— he’s got Brandi and Liberty and his sister and her family and little Brody and the Nightmare Factory and his nephews breaking into this business that share the last name Rhodes and he has a mother and he has the memory of a father.

His father worked into his 60s on the indies bleeding and breaking his body and he doesn’t want that memory to mirror his future and what this offer boils down to is everything that he would fight and claw and scratch to get. The Rock is saying he could have it without the fighting, clawing, and scratch—

Enter Seth Rollins, wearing a red vinyl trenchcoat overmatching pants because why not.

He says he’d love for this to be a moment of celebration, to welcome him back to his show Monday Night Rollins, to tell him how proud he is and congratulate him on his near-year as WWE Champion, look at that sign and shake his hand and tell him he can’t wait to fight him in the main event of WrestleMania.

He’d love to do that but that’s not why he’s out here, he’s out here to ask the same thing they’ve all been wondering— what the hell is he thinking? Nearly a year ago they were standing side-by-side against the Bloodline, against Roman Reigns, against the Rock, and now he’s back asking for his soul?

Seth asks Cody to not make him regret everything he sacrificed to help him win that WWE Championship. Become the Rock’s champion for what, a few bit parts in his movies and a few thousand followers on social media? Is the title becoming too much of a burden on him, because it wouldn’t be for him.

Rhodes says he wishes this conversation was going differently because his part should be laced with gratitude but Seth is being awfully judgmental with him and he knows the Rock wouldn’t ask for his soul because it’s been compromised, and Cody talks about Seth turning on the Shield and running with the Authority but he also knows he was his shield, his partner, and his brother last year.

With one leg and a scrambled back, he helped Cody with his greatest dream and Seth was the main event MVP of WrestleMania 40. Rollins lets it sink in for a moment and says he’s not trying to judge him but maybe he’s trying to keep him from making those same mistakes because making those mistakes sticks with you and he’s been filled with hate lately.

Sometimes that hate is pointed at guys that deserves it but he really does not want to hate Cody Rhodes. At the end of the day he’s a grown man who will make his own decisions, but the man he wants to fight after winning Elimination Chamber isn’t a soulless shell, he’s the man that came back to this company that beat him at WrestleMania 38.

The Cody Rhodes that beat him with one arm in Hell of a Cell, the Cody Rhodes that he helped crown in the main event of WrestleMania last year. Cody will do what he wants, but that’s what Seth wants, and he’s not coming for his soul, but he will come for his title.

A Logan Paul hype reel follows.

Judgment Day make their entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Akira Tozawa is in the trainer’s room and Jey Uso says he fought hard and he respects him.

Jey walks and talks and A-Town Down Under roll up to talk trash about how he only cares about himself and he’s nothing more than a meme, to which Uso simply does the yeet hands. Grayson Waller tells him the truth is he’s not on GUNTHER’s level and everybody knows it and that must hurt.

Uso says everybody’s doubting him but it’s cool because at WrestleMania he’s gonna win, yeet. Austin Theory does a yeet and Grayson yells at him about it until Jey lays him out with a superkick!

Bianca Belair & Naomi (c) vs. Judgment Day (Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez) (WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship)

Champs blindside the challengers before the bell and take them to the floor for a beatdown! Throwing Morgan inside, Belair starting with her and we get a bell! Quick tags, keeping Liv on the back foot, double hip toss sets up a moonsault / leg drop combination for two! Bianca with a vicious elbow, whip reversed, Rodriguez recovered and she trips Belair up!

Pulling the EST out to the floor, throwing her into the barricade and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Naomi gets the tag, big superkick to Raquel, spinning bulldog, superkick cuts Morgan off, running leg drop sends her packing! Nearfall on Rodriguez off an X-Factor, off the top with a diving crossbody, Raquel rolls through and deadlifts her up but Naomi floats out and clears the apron!

Springboard roundhouse, off the second with a blockbuster, tag to Belair! 450 splash... SO CLOSE! Bianca gets under Rodriguez, she rakes the eyes to get out and tags Liv in! Assisted Codebreaker... NOT ENOUGH! Oblivion blocked, Naomi with a kick and a tag, double Argentine backbreaker rack but Dominik Mysterio runs interference!

Raquel hits the powerbomb, Liv follows it up with Oblivion... BIANCA BREAKS IT UP! A spear connects and all four women are down and out! Belair tags back in, suplex reversed into a small package for two! Charging in, clear the apron, Liv with a schoolboy for two! Bianca gets under her, KOD connects... RODRIGUEZ BREAKS IT UP!

Naomi runs in, Raquel throws her to the apron and eats a Heatseeker for her trouble! Tag to Naomi, drawing Liv up together, double KOD... BUT DOM PUTS HER FOOT ON THE ROPES! Fighting on the floor, Bianca over the announce desk, Naomi with a plancha but she’s isolated! She counters Oblivion, Full Nelson Bomb countered with a victory roll!

Morgan off the ropes... SHE CALLS THAT THE REAR VIEW! Naomi lands a kick on Dominik but Raquel blocks the split-legged moonsault and smacks Naomi’s face into the post! She crashes to the mat, Liv rolls into a desperate cover...

Judgment Day win by pinfall with a one-arm pin from Liv Morgan on Naomi, becoming your new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Judgment Day celebrate.

That’s the show, folks.
